Baffles of the tank are one of the most important parts of the septic tank.
The inlet baffle pushes wastewater from the sewer line into the tank rather than across the surface of the tank and into the outlet pipe connecting to the absorption area.
If your septic tank does not have an outlet baffle, this can cause your septic system to break down prematurely.
An outlet baffle which is not functioning properly can allow solids to escape and lead to a build up of waste materials in the absorption area. This coating can prevent liquids from being absorbed effectively.
REPLACE YOU BAFFLES! By simply replacing your baffles, you can generally increase the life span of your septic system and prevent potential problems from occurring.
